I agree about Mr & Mrs Smith! I'm really enjoying it. It has just the right amount of drama and comedy and the stakes are how I like them. I did watch the original but it was on a plane from Costa Rica to Mexico, I watched it in Spanish while extremely jetlagged, so not sure if my recollection of it is correct. But I like this new series vibe better.
Yeah, it didn't hurt - at all - that the chemistry between Glover and Erskine was electric. I'm excited to see where it goes in a 2nd season if we get one.
Ah cheers, man! It's one of my favourite shots. Yelle was playing after, and there was a shared drum kit set up for use that Crystal Castles weren't using. Alice proceeded to pass almost the entire kit out into the audience until she was stopped. They were bananas back in the day.
Yelle, what a time to be alive! I got to see CC play once during their last album tour with their new singer. Sad I never got to see Alice perform, but understandable circumstances to why she left:( if there are any prints of that shot I would be interested in purchasing one:)
Thanks so much, man. I don't have a print of that file to sell, but I can make one up for you when I have a moment. I'll write to you by email when I have a bit of time. I'm really happy you like the shot. (And yeah, absolutely understandable why Alice left. Just a shame she hasn't quite had the success yet solo).
Always, man. Any time. Let this community grow, indeed. Dragonforce is going to be wild... a double header with Amaranthe. I didn't know either band's music until recently. This will be the last show I shoot before getting my M11-P digital so this one will be on tri-x only. I presume there'll be plenty of light though going by the photos I've seen of these bands. :)

Great shot of Alice, really encapsulated their energy from back then.

Thank you
That's a hell of a lineup to ease back into concert photography. Enjoy the music and the share those pics.
Hah, aye. And more added since. I'm looking forward to stretching those muscles and destroying my old-man hearing.
Wishing you a busy gig calendar this year, Neil! And thank you for promoting my newsletter here! Really appreciate it!
Thanks Susanne. And always and anytime. Always keen to give you a shout-out whenever I can. :)
Great post Neil. Thanks for including me in Dispatch. Let this community grow. My youngest son will be jealous hearing you shot DragonForce!
